Cajun Honey Lime Wingettes

Ingredients:

- 2 lbs chicken wingettes

- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

- 1/4 cup honey

- Zest and juice of 2 limes

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish, optional)

- Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wingettes with Cajun seasoning, olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

  3. Arrange the seasoned wingettes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the wingettes are cooked through and golden brown.

  5. While the wingettes are baking, prepare the glaze. In a small saucepan, combine the honey, lime zest, and lime juice. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the honey is melted and the mixture is well combined. Remove from heat.

  6. Once the wingettes are cooked, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl.

  7. Pour the honey lime glaze over the hot wingettes and toss gently to coat them evenly.

  8. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro, if desired.

  9. Serve the Cajun Honey Lime Wingettes hot, with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the wings.

These Cajun Honey Lime Wingettes are sweet, tangy, and spicy, making them a perfect appetizer or main dish for any occasion. Enjoy!
